My brother Ernest called me last night for my Birthday, which was the 21st. He thought that it was next week? That's okay. At least he called.... that makes me very happy. We had a nice conversation and I love him very much.
I'm probably the most happy and content person that I know. I've been with the love of my life since I was 14 and he was 17. We got married in 1975,waited 5 years and then had identical, mirror image twin girls...Laura and Julia. They are both, R.N.'s at a local hospital, about 30 minutes away. They got married,3 months apart to two wonderful men... Jay and Fran. With their husbands, a year later,they each had a wonderful son, 3 months apart. Sam and Eben. They really are like brothers instead of cousins. They have now completed our family circle. We see all of them, nearly every day and we love all of them to pieces. We have lived on the side of a Mountain for our entire married life...it's a little slice of Heaven. It was a fantastic place to raise our family and now our grandsons are here to enjoy it as well. We are very fortunate to have all of them living so close to us. They lovingly call us.... Oma and Poppy. They are such bright spots in our lives. I like to help out with the caring of the boys...when the girls need me to...we have loads of fun...they are the best little guys.Very sweet, smart and FULL of the beans!
